Blog X: My Blogger experience xD

Hi everyone, this our last blog 😢😢 so sad.

Being a blogger for almost 3 months was an amazing and unique experience, and I like it a lot. Get to know people of different careers and the same one, was something that I enjoy and this unique way of learning experience it was entertaining. It help me a lot in my writing because I always write 'because' or 'with' in the wrong way since I remember (whit - becoause and others xd), but thanks to the blogs I think I can know write them well without getting it wrong hahahah (I hope so).

I think that the subject were good, but I will like them to be like the blog we do of our vices, because it was funny, especially the brainstorm and of course the result.

Well the English classes are coming to an end and is pretty sad, I know that I didn't talk a lot but I really laugh a lot xD. I think that the way that the classes are executed are amazing and I really enjoy the classmates, they always crack a smile on my face and I hope I can see you again maybe in English 4, nobody knows.

Blog IX: Music that I enjoy

Hello my friends once again, I hope you're doing great.

If I talk of music I would say that I like a lot of it and have a lot of artist/ bands that I like, but todays I'm going to talk about the Arctic Monkeys.

First time that I listen to them was around 2013, because of my brother, he show the music video of '' Do I wanna know'' and I got shocked by it and since then I pretty much like them and save them to my playlist xd.

  

I really enjoy them because of the music, the lyrics, the voice and the style that they use; my favorite album will be a tie between ''AM'' and ''Hambug''. AM is more slow than the usual at that time and that is why I like it, and Hambug, I enjoy the lyrics of this one, for example cornerstone, beautiful lyrics whit good melody and really good harmony. Other song that I like are ''Suck it and see'', ''Arabella'' and ''Fluorescent Adolescent''.

Ahh and by the way, their last album is good to.

The genre's that I listen the most will be the Funk, Soul, Rock, Indie and Rap, but I can listen to everything and I do not discriminate hahahaha. Other thing that I like are the Bassist, because I really like the instrument and I like to listen to them especially if they do solo album , good examples of this will be Jaco Pastorius or Victor Wooten.

Blog VIII: A subject that I enjoy this semester

Hello once again my friends, 

Today I am going to talk about the subject that I most enjoy during online classes, and this one is Analytical audition II.

During this year (Is an annual subject) we're seeing different periods of the history and analyzing importants or the most famous artists of their respective period, we started by seeing from the Renaissance onwards, and we see the different styles that the musicians of that time use. Some examples will be the '' Madrigal'', the ''Opera'' or the ''Symphony'' and during claseses we analyze those styles by seeing the score, the different technique that are used , but the most important was listen to the difference between the artist themselves, some of the artist that we listen to are Mozart, Sebastian Bach, and Joseph Haydn.

I really enjoy this subject because when online classes started I really thought that this subject will not be able to adapt in a very good way because our teacher is an old man (60+, I think is more) and is almost deaf, but him and the assistant adapt in a perfect way that is more enjoyable online the offline xD and listen to the music help me to forgot all of this coronavirus. It was and is an amazing experience.

Blog VII:People that I admire

Hello once again my friends!!

Today I'm going to talk about Gustavo Santaolalla. He is a songwriter, music and a music producer from Argentina, He was born on August 19th of 1951 in Buenos Aires.

At first I know him because of a game that I really enjoy and it was really famous, this game is The last of us. In the beginig I didn't know him pretty well but as I grow up, I play the game again and I was shock by the soundtrack and sound of this one, that's when I started to invastigate him and realize that I've heard song and didnt't know that he was the producer of them.

Some of his works are the production of the album 'Corazones' of Los prisioneros and have participated in the production of musicians like Juanes ('A dios le pido') and Julieta Venegas ('Eres para mi' with Anita Tijoux), besides he participates in the audiovisual area in movies or games as i mention early.

Other person that I really like Is Pablo Ilabaca, He is a musician and producer from Chile, Santiago. He was part of the famous band 'Chancho en piedra' and still work on his proyect called '31 minutos '(Freddy Turbina) and Jaco Sanchez, he composes and produce some of his own songs, I really enjoy listen to his work and is like an inspiration to me.

Blog VI: End of quarentine

Hey guyss!! hope you're doing great.

In todays blog Im gonna talk about the first think I'll do when the quarentine finish, I think the first thing will be a reunion with my friends because It's been a while since the last day we saw each other in person and we also  have 3 birthdays that we couldn't celebrate so I think we will have a big party ahahhaha. 

Also we have a friend of my brother here in our neighborhood for like  6 years and he's like our putative brother and due the quarentine we wasn't see him, so maybe a reunion in our house and conversate about all the thinks that happend during quarentine and celebrate the end of it hahaha

The other think that I'll like to do will be go to the ''cerro de la virgen'' here in L.A. (Los Andes) because I need time to relax, forgot all of this mess and separete myself of the PC (I'm really tired of it). I think I'll go with bot of my brothers maybe our dog not sure but I'll defenetly go there.

Blog V: My favorite pic.

Hi guys!!, welcome back to my blog 😁

Today I'm going to talk about my favorite picture, this is one that I like because it show a very important and  good friend/brother that my dog is to myself and the other, but not as important, is the place that was taken, my backyard, is a good place to relax and have a lot of plants, is very pretty.

The picture was taken by my older brother Mauricio on April when all of this corona stuff started, he was on the cellphone when my dog wanted to go outside, then he started to investigate and my mother told to my brother to see him and then my dog just set on that place just the perfect amount of time for my brother to take it, I saw when it happends ( I was in online classes xD). Ah by the way his name is Pitt and the meaning come from my mother because she thought he will become a Pitbull but at the end he just stay as a pit and then we added the other T, that's how the named Pitt was created ahahaha.

Blog IV: Guilty pleasure

Welcome back again my friends 😎 , in todays blog I wanted to talk with you about my guilty plesure, this is the snacks and a good can of beer.

The first time I started to like this special combination would be thankd to my 17th birthday present of my godfather because he gave me a beer and I keep it for two days becouse my birthday is the majority of the time during the week (Though sometimes is on weekend Yay!!), so for respect to my parents I didn't drink it in the week due to classes. So that same day my brother ask my fahter if he can bring a snack from the supermarket and he accept, that was one of my best nights ahahaha.

Since that day if I have the posibility of  repeat, I just do it, even so is not really often, but for almost a year ago I do it separately and I think just the can with good music is enough in this days, but sometimes I  buy them and is still the best combination ever xD. Although is bad for my health, I dont think I will stop doing it maybe dont do it frequently together or separate, but having a time to take a brake and do something that you like, is god for your mental.

Thinking of that I hope you're having a great cuarentine and stay safe, this are the worst days.

Blog III: My special object

Welcome back guys!!

When they ask me abaout what is my favorite piece of technology I wasn't sure what thing to pick but then I realise that my favorite are my headphones/ earphones, I've been using them since I was 12 years old but they always break but I by them again in a repetitive cycle, Althought the last one I buy is a year + old.
And my headphones are 2 years old.

I use my earphones the majority of the days because I watch videos or listen to music and I can still hear what happend around me and when I want to get isolated I use the headphones. I use my phones to listen to music in my house or when I walk somehwere, watch videos, when I play video games, play piano or bass, some times I use them because me ear hurts with some noises and I put them to head less( I don´t know if it works but in my head it does), other times I wear them without listen to anything and they help me to think (weird isn't) and online classes haha.

I specially pick them because it help me to focus on what I want to hear and to no get bored, I think if I don't have them in my life I would get bored really easy because but I think I can live without them.

Blog II: Why Sound engeeniring?

Hello everyone, I'm back.

When I was a child I wanted to do a lot of things, like a racer, pilot or other carrers that I heard or sound entretaining. But as time passed I wasn't sure what i wanted to do and always that someone asked me what I wanted to be I answered engineering because I was good at math.

Then I started highschool and I got interest in music and physics, finally something that I looked myself doing and not regretting it. Due to that when I have to choose a carrer i wasn't sure to go into Sound engineering or astronomy, but I decide to go to engenieering because it actually combined both thing that I like, music and physics and my family also recommend me to study that.

Now in the present after a year and months of that decision, I'm really happy with it and my experience in the univesity has been awesome, I have good, funny and suportive classmates, teachers with a lot of experience and vocation. but I don't know what I want to do in the future, specifically in my specialization.

Blog I: The journey begins

Hello everyone, my name is Pedro Cortés Berguño  Im 18 years old.

I was born in Santiago, Chile on june 4th 2001 and lived in Curacaví the hometown of my mother for 3 years, then I moved to  Los Andes, my father hometown, due to a family desicion.

I went to the elementary school ¨San José¨ with my two brothers (both older) and studied for long 9 years, there I made my best friends and we all make the desicion to moved thogether to the  highschool ¨Maximiliano salas marchan¨.

During my years in highschool I started to play bass guitar and then join a band with  friends, we play in some school events but never try to do our own music, then we separete the band because of the university and other goals of my band mates. In my last year of highschool I take the desicion to study sound engineering in the Universidad de Chile because the career really attracted me and it looked fun.

I  like to play video games with friends , see movies or series, listen to music, hang out with friends and I really like to play the bass guitar.
